Thank you so much for visiting our website! Casita de Cake is a licensed home-based bakery in the state of Kentucky, private micro bakery owned and  food-handler certified.

My name is Diana, and I am the founder of Casita de Cake. I’m a proud Latina, a mother of three, and a self-taught baker with a passion for creating beautiful, meaningful desserts. I was born and raised in New York with Salvadorean roots, later moved to Washington, D.C. as a teenager to begin a new chapter in life, and eventually found my home in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky.

For many years, I worked behind a desk and in the medical field, but I felt a strong pull toward something more fulfilling. Baking, which began as a childhood hobby, slowly revealed itself as my true calling. What started with a love for baking grew into a passion for cake decorating—an art that requires patience, creativity, and constant learning. While talent can be a gift, I believe it’s dedication and practice that truly bring it to life.

Today, I balance caring for my family while pouring my heart into a business I genuinely love. I continuously strive to grow, improve, and refine my craft with every order. Each dessert is made from scratch, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients and handcrafted with love and intention.

As someone who has lived with pre-diabetes for nearly 15 years, I’ve developed recipes that are not overly sweet, yet still rich, flavorful, and satisfying—cakes designed to be enjoyed without overwhelming the palate.
