  My name is Diana, a mother of three, a self taught baker and the founder of Casita de Cake. I am a proud Latina with a registered home based business in the state of Kentucky. I was born and raised in New York with a Salvadorean background. At the age 14 my life completely changed as my family and I moved to Washington, Dc. to start a new life. A few years later I became a mother for the first time. I then dedicated myself to work to be able to provide for my child. Many years go by and I decided to move to the lovely Bluegrass state, where to I was blessed twice more with my beautiful children. Throughout the years, I could not figure out what career really made me happy, whether it was working behind a desk or as a nurse etc.. I am now filled with joy and found something that I love to do. Baking cakes and cupcakes from scratch, knowing each ingredient that is added with love and seeing all of my costumers gratitude is what keeps me going.  As a woman, struggling with pre-diabetes for over a decade, I have came to find my perfect recipes that are not too sweet but yet tasty to fulfill your pallet.
